This is my personal blog. I write about ministry, camp, marriage, and just my thoughts on life in general. I sometimes write about things that bug me, pet peeves, and other topics that don't fit one of the above labels. I started this blog to connect with others in ministry and to hopefully offer insights from my own experience. I try to post at least three times a week. I like lists.
BIO
Camp and ministry are two of my biggest passions in life, and have been part of my life's work and career since college. Before coming to work at LifeWay full-time, I served as Director of Preschoolers and Kids (aka children's minister) at Waters Edge Church in Yorktown, Virginia.
I earned an MDiv from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, AL and served on staff at a local church working with the preteen program in their children's ministry. Before that I graduated from Samford University with an accounting degree. It comes in handy from time to time.
On occasion my writing is published. I've contributed several articles to MyMissionFulfilled, a website geared to young women with an interest in missions or ministry. I've also written for ParentLife magazine, and served as a Bible study curriculum writer for CentriKid Camps.
I've been married to Nic Teasley for a year and a half. We met in quite a fascinating way and you're welcome to read about it. Nic is a California native turned Southerner. He challenges me daily to keep up this blog.
In my free time I've recently become an avid couponer. I also enjoy painting, dabbling in photography, and learning to play golf. Nic and I live in Nashville. We are active members of Grace Community Church where we love hanging out with 3rd-6th graders... they are sometimes my test group for new camp games!
