catalyst

3AM - arrived home from Catalyst Conference.  We had a really long trip, but I thoroughly enjoyed the conference. It's so hard to pick favorites, but I think I most enjoyed Matt Chandler and Dave Ramsey.  Across the board, this line-up of speakers was incredible!  I think I'll be processing the content for days. 

I was able to reconnect with some friends at Catalyst, many were unexpected.  I ran into several seminary friends, and especially loved catching up with Wayne and Mary.  It was fun to see Mark at Catalyst again this year, even if it was only for about 3.54 seconds.  On Thursday evening, I even got to eat Moe's and hang out with Holly and JMac from camp... it's always great to hang out with old friends!

Other highlights from the trip:

-- Attending a lunch with Mark Batterson and Perry Noble, and getting to chat with them afterward.

-- Oversleeping 54 minutes on Friday, making Rob and Bill late!  Sorry guys!

-- Talking trash about next month's cornhole tournament featuring WEC vs. NCC.

-- Choking on Peanut M&M's (check out the story here).
