I am starting to wonder what it would be like to be the reject Jelly Belly. I get stoked about Jelly Belly jelly beans. They are awesome, and I love figuring out what flavor I'm picking! Bill brought some in to the office candy bowl last week. On Friday I looked in, and only the rejects were left. It must be no fun to be the reject jelly bean! I imagine that some delicious flavors are in there (like cookies and cream, or s'mores, or pineapple), waiting to be eaten, but no one takes them because they are white, or yellow, or cream, or brown. Is it that we are just attracted to the bright colors? Or that we know a little more about what taste we might get when we reach in for a red or purple? I don't know, but I kinda feel bad for the rejects. Now I wonder how long they will sit until someone eats them...
Glad to finally be visiting heymayday.com! If I was a jelly bean, and my whole life's goal was to get chewed up, but unfortunately I was born an ugly color, I think I would feel pretty bad, but hopefully someone would come along and take a chance on me. It's not gonna help the diet but I will invest in an ugly jelly bean this week.
ReplyDeleteIf you really feel bad you should eat all the rejects at once. That way they can go out in a blaze of glory together.
ReplyDeleteand may taste like one too
