No worries, I made it safely back to the South after a great trip to the West coast and a redeye flight from LAX! I have officially been in VA, NC, SC, GA, AL, CA, and FL (that's seven states and both sides of the country) in the past week! It's been a great vacation!

Surprise!
Saturday, I flew to California on a whim... seriously. It was probably the most sporadic thing I've ever done in my life. Nic didn't tell his mom he was bringing me home to Cali. Here is her reaction when we knocked on her door Sunday afternoon. It was one of the most fun surprises I've ever been a part of! She and I had never met before, but she was completely shocked to see me standing at the door. Thanks, Nancy, for the warm California welcome!
