the end has come, part 1

Tomorrow is my last Sunday on staff at Waters Edge... it's definitely bittersweet!  I'm excited to embark on the next step of my journey, but sad to say goodbye to so many incredible people.  They have loved me, welcomed me, encouraged me, and challenged me.  I love the people of Waters Edge!  God has done some pretty incredible things in our church over the past year and it's been a joy to be a part of that!

The staff team at Waters Edge has especially challenged me this year... these people work unbelievably hard.  They give way above and beyond, and their Sundays are looooooooooong.  If you don't believe me, just go shadow one of them for a Sunday!  These people are so driven.  They don't give up.  They push forward, and seem to really understand that even the small (and sometimes menial) tasks are important -- what we do week after week really does have an impact.  I'm honored to have had the opportunity to serve on this team, and I'm excited to have been used by God as a part of the work He is doing here!

Next Week = Part 2.

  5. I'm stoked for your Meredith! Sad to see you go, considering you were only a hop-skip-jump away. ;-( Well, that just means you'll need to come back & visit. And I'm glad that I now know one more person in the high places. ;-)
