Roll Tide!

My team played for the SEC Championship yesterday and got beat.  That's right, we didn't lose.  We got beat.  It was a good but sad game.  I'm somewhat thankful today to be 600 miles from most of the die-hard Bama fans I know right now, mostly because the sentiment in the Heart of Dixie is probably much different than it is in Virginia.  I'm glad to not be surrounded by ear fulls of talk about the game.  It was a great season for us, and I didn't expect we'd even get this far undefeated, so I'm proud of Alabama.  

Oh, and I got this picture in an email last week entitled "spankin'."  Welcome to my world of football fanatics!

We may have lost the SEC Championship but we didn't lose the Iron Bowl.
