Yesterday, the question was raised to me, "do I live with MARGIN built in to my life?" Back in the day, the Israelites were commanded to leave margin in the harvesting of their fields (Deut. 24).
*In my time... do I have margin?
*In my commitments... do I have margin?
*In my checking account... do I have margin?
We pack our lives FULL of stuff. A lot of it is good stuff. But when we have no margin, how do we make time for those opportunities to invest in others, help a friend, give to those in need? I contend that when we live with margin, we are able to live more selfless, outward-focused lives that can be used for a greater purpose!
I need more margin in my life, in my schedule. Do you?
