Ten things I learned in financial peace university

10. Just hearing the phrase "credit card" makes me wanna puke.

9. I am now addicted to coupons. (step #1 is "admit you have a problem," right?)

8. A lot of debt is due to laziness and irresponsibility - not all, but a lot. this is applicable to me.

7. For 27ish years, I didn't know where ALL my money was going... I just kinda sorta kept tabs on it. Now every dollar has a name before the month begins. Thanks, Dave.

6. I am addicted to coupons.

5. Nic and I feel completely blessed to have gone thru this class as newlyweds! We pray daily for MANY, many more years to walk together in Financial Peace! Thank you Jesus for your provisions!

4. Sitting at the kitchen table, opening up a computer, and studying/planning a budget, is REALLY hard work. In the end, it's TOTALLY worth it!

3. I know way less than I should about insurance, investments, and mortgages... especially considering I double majored in ACCOUNTING and BUSINESS MANAGEMENT!

2. I really am addicted to coupons.

1. If we live like no one else now, then later we can LIVE LIKE NO ONE ELSE! Looking forward to growing grey-haired with green pockets and lots to give!
