Last night I helped a friend scurry thru the store over the phone, trying to figure out what aisle certain foods might be found on before the store closed. It felt like a big game of grocery store aisle trivia, but reminded me of my favorite show! In honor of the show:

supermarket sweep
Remember that show, supermarket sweep? I love that show! If I had to pick a game show to be a contestant on, that was always the one! I especially loved the collared sweatshirts... those looked awesome, but you better get the red one because that means you're headed into the sweep in first place. And I also love how they toss their limit of giant hams or turkeys into the cart... like anyone would ever buy that much meat at one time!

ReplyDeleteI totally used to watch this when I was a kid too. I would always yell at the people who picked up the shampoos and detergants, you gotta go straight for the meat!
