A couple of weeks ago, I made my very first trip to Disneyland. Nic and I were so very thankful that his grandparents showered us with Disney giftcards at Christmas. Thankfully, these cards covered all our expenses for the day, and we didn't have to kill the Dave Ramsey budget to make this trip happen. The lines were short, the crowd wasn't bad, and the weather was gorgeous!
One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to meet Mickey Mouse.
I love that Disneyland puts so much emphasis on the little details -- each ride is characterized from the second you get in line. Each worker is "costumed" perfectly for their particular ride, restaurant, or job. Every detail has already been considered! It was also fun to be in an environment that so many churches have modeled their children's facility after (while some have even hired Disney's own to do the design work!)
Overall, we had a fantastic day. These pictures are some of my favorite... Nic and his sister, Cara, who's trying hard to kiss him on the cheek!
Very fun. Did you do both of the parks?
